What is up with these accounts that post a lot, have many follows, few followers, never interact beyond there posts and no one interacts with their posts?is that a bot?

Sounds like the activity of a bot. Always good to check their follower list, usually you can tell by the names if they are fake or not.
Yeah. Its time for me to go through my follows and drop a bunch.
NPC mostly
the matrix is full of them
Like human npc or ai npc. Almost the same thing now I suppose.
Have any examples?
I thought about mentioning some. I felt shitty calling them out if they are real people. đ¤ˇ
Fair. I will say I am not a fan of social media accounts who donât interact. That is the point - good discussions, different perspectives, help, tips and warnings.
If I end up following any accounts who are too busy or whatever to reply at least some of the time to some of the commenters I will unfollow.
The ones that are busy are quite apparant. And I respect that. Some of these though.. I think my list is due for a purge.
Do it. Do it. Do it lol

Desert Dave is clearly classy
I wouldn't go that far. I basically live in a shack in the middle of the desert. I guess that raises a question. What does it mean to be classy?
Ahh a philosophical discussion, nice.
To me, âclassyâ is a way of behaving where youâre honest but still donât resort to mud slinging or backstabbing. The maintenance of respect even in disagreement. Discussing ideas, not people - embodied.
You can be classy and live in shack I think.
Probably bots. Could also just be people who don't understand how to gain followers on Nostr. They just post kind 1 notes out into the ether, hoping someone will be browsing a Global feed and see it.
Spoiler alert: no one really browses the cesspool that is the global feed anymore.
They just may not realize that they need to interact with other users' content if they want others to interact with theirs.
