Today I had to ask a store employee to unlock the shelves where they now keep the laundry detergent locked up (as if it was expensive booze).

Again, strange times…

“Diversity is our strength”

Might sound strange but, to tell you the truth, I think that it is diversity what is keeping things within more sane levels here. The diversity of ideology (not a woke monocrop) that this city still has has prevented it from jumping head first towards the abyss.

Where are you?

San Diego

You live in Portland, SF or LA area?

No, San Diego

I was there like 15 years ago. Beautiful. I'm sure a lot has change. Sad.

San Diego has its own idiosyncrasies. It’s nothing like those other cities, thankfully.

It’s tiring.

It really is

The more shit that's locked up, the nicer the neighborhood 🙄

Is this about kids/teens eating the pods again or crime?

No, it’s organized crime stealing from the stores and reselling online

Wow 😮

I was stunned, never seen that before

Why though? 🤔

Apparently organized crime stealing from the stores and reselling online

Black market and dark web for laundry detergent 😳

le shop: you want the usual stuff or the good stuff?

le you: er.. for washing clothes?

le shop: yeah, yeah, for "clothes". hehe

😆

I think in this case it is organized crime stealing from the stores and reselling online
