Getting pushback from my purist brothers on recommending custodial lightning wallets.

@walletofsatoshi seems to work the best on nostr and is very user friendly

My thinking is treat is as you would a fiat wallet and just keep walking around money in it. Load it up with 50-100k sats and that will cover all your zapping and relay purchases for long enough to get the hang of it.

Produce some good content and you'll see how quickly this value for value economy rewards you.

Agreed. Custodial wallets are great, just need to know their limits and the associated risks. For $5 first time user, or even daily spending petty cash, why not? Much safer than carrying around access to your own node which may have many more sats to be stolen/lost.

Yup I loaded WoS with 20K sats and it’s lasting a long while when you only zap 69 sats at a time.
