I don't know about your state, but in mine they have to have 1" high lettering saying no weapons allowed (or similar), or it doesn't have any legal meaning.

In some states it has "force of law" and others it is only a request and they can ask you to leave but it isn't illegal to disobey.

I meant to say it isn't illegal to disobey the anti-carry sign in some states but if they ask you to leave you have to go.

Honestly, I think a lot of businesses have that as official policy solely to pacify dumbass gun grabber types. If you're not carrying openly, they don't have to hear the Karens reeee about it and everyone's happy.
