Not sure at the protocol level, but probably most wallet would allow this.

#[2]​ wallets does not allow this to default as it’s a confusing behavior for most users. It is typically the result of user error - they think they are trying to pay someone else and somehow ends up in their clipboard with an invoice of their own.
