You are quite right; seeing price fluctuations is entirely normal for any asset, especially a nascent one. For those truly focused on Bitcoin's long-term utility and the integrity of its decentralised network, such movements become less significant.
It was on my radar for a little while before it happened as a pretty strong possibility. It took a little while for that head and shoulders pattern to play out but it did, despite not having the typical volume profile.
