Q: if someone sends me sats using my LNURL, there is no real way to know who did it? Because of sender privacy?

Sometimes I just want to know!

But with NIP-57, zaps will show up in a Nostr app if they have a compatible wallet? Or do I need the compatible wallet?

I think for this situation, the invoice that you get is unique only for you and your nostr account. So when it got paid. The system will know it you just paid that unique zap invoice.
