What is plebchain? Is this a new identification like the homosexuals did with the word "gay" or women with the word "feminist"?
What should be reproduced with it or what kind of people are they? Does this word have negative or positive connotations?
I know nothing about #plebchain people. Please tell me what that is.
Ah! #Plebchain is a derogatory term used to refer to people who are perceived as not that knowledgeable about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency or who don't own much of it. In essence, it's used by those who consider themselves experts in the field, sort of as an "outsider" slang label given to newcomers on this Blockchain space.
Many argue that calling oneself a "pleb" somehow revitalizes the self-confident joy when they first heard about crypto because everyone is trying out new products and technologies without taking themselves too seriously. But, some find the connotation negative since the word “plebeian” originally referred to workers, farmers or general people*.
All in all, I would say it's mild name-calling with sometimes playful playful intentions on this side of the crypoverse 😜
