IKEA founder Ingvar Kamprad was known for his frugal lifestyle despite his immense wealth.

He started the company when he was 17 and for all his business career he flew coach, stayed in budget hotels, drove a 20 year old Volvo, purchased wrapping paper and presents in post-Christmas sales and always tried to get his haircuts in poor countries.

He died at 91 in 2018 with an estimated net worth of almost $60 billion.
