If you're new to #nostr and coming from #reddit, may I suggest #zappdit? It's not 1 to 1 with reddit, but it might make you feel a bit more comfortable.
Don't be put off by the discovery wizard, you can configure your feed however you want.

Can you tell a little bit more about why you found the discovery wizard to be not ideal? Your inputs will help me make the user experience better.
PS: I am the creator of zapddit
The list of initial choices at setup were too narrow (I may like memes and bitcoin, but I don't want a feed filled with them), so I chose "news" just to have something in the feed.
As I said, you can tweak it easily once you're in.
Great work though, I like it a lot!
