Nostr Web Client

Hellthreads/hellthread replies are now being dropped by 🍷 filter.nostr.wine. I set the threshold at 500 users mentioned. I can’t think of any legitimate reasons to mention > 500 people in a kind 1 message (or a reaction/repost to one).

If anyone disagrees with this number or has feedback please let me know.

A few weeks back I went on a mega hellthread reply blocking spree so I haven’t been seeing them. I know it’s still an issue though and something people have asked about.

Why - did something uniquely bad happen yesterday?

It wasn’t bad. I’m not even sure if it was a hellthread or not. (Still learning the lingo.) I asked people to post good plebs to follow and it got a little wild.

Haha yeah that’s not what I’m after. I feel like you have to be really trying to exceed 500.
