Yes, I do associate a deeper richer orange yolk to be more nutritious and fresher. And vital farms doesn't disappoint but it is so expensive. I found such a great deal on the regenerative ones but side by side it is the inferior.
ya honestly not an egg snob. they are all good enough for me. but i can definitely taste the difference of the color.
luckily for me, there is some little house a few blocks down the road that sells really nice eggs for a really nice price.
my wife checks every day on her walk and picks them up when they are in.
they also sell other cool stuff like vegetable plants

My understanding is that chlorophyll (leafy greens) makes for yellower yokes.
I have found a use for kale... my chooks love kale.
