If that was correct then we could assume that the more adoption of bitcoin the less corruption. In the country El Salvador the adoption is big and even the state accepts bitcoin since years... Do they have less corruption? I don't think so... This country still has big problems with huge gangs like mara salvatrutcha etc. In fact bitcoin is used to legalise the profits from corruption.
As in most cases, technology is neutral. It is the use of it from us that defines good or bad
