For me in my early days, taking on a job as a webdev instead of going to uni earned me a stable economy and a skillset that is better known as reverse engineering.

I spent most of my career cleaning up after academics.. all the business rescues after botched timeframes and blown complexites.
The professors left me to deliver the things that they couldn't at whatever fraction of budget still present after they gave up and turned tail.
But you have gratitude.
Because of you. I know the road to
success and production.
