One of my favorite local kitchens belongs to Dynastia on 72nd St, in NYC.

Their story is beautiful.

They left China to escape communism, moved to Cuba. Then Cuba turned communist and they had to flee again. A considerable wave of migrants ended up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, where they remained for 2 generations.

In the migration process, their cuisine turned from Chinese to ‘China-Latina’

(pronounced cheena lateena)

Decades later, they are the last such restaurant of the genre and more popular than ever thanks to the help of some social media influencoors.

I value them in the neighborhood, and really want to onboard them to accept bitcoin… I feel like there are equally compelling stories across the world, and as this space grows, there will be new ways to support these businesses with Nostr…

telling their stories

zapping them their first sats…

growing the bitcoin community

This is the world I want to live in… this is the world I want to build. 💜

That's a beautiful story. You should do it. Let us know how it goes.

Will explore this and brainstorm on my flight tomorrow morning
