Thousands of users have been onboarded to Nostr protocol because of ease of use of nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 . If one uses πŸ“±, it is a great deal having to migrate at this early stage. A way to lose users is to inconvenience them (transferring keys, learning new UI etc.) Anyway Damus has been doing a great job, I hope rotten 🍎 takes back that decision 😐

Everyone needs to learn to custody their own keys, and convenience is not an excuse for censorship. If people can't move to a different client if they want to, it's their own fault.

Not your keys, not your coin.

Not your keys, not your client.

The power is in their hands.
