Sometimes when I walk the land, I look around at everything God has entrusted us with and dream of what we can make of it.
Living off grid isn't easier than the city.
It's not necessarily cheaper, more convenient, or "fun" either.
But my experience of it so far is it's living more in reality.
Cold? It's your fault. Hot, hungry, wet, no power? Still your fault.
Living off grid requires something of you. Things don't just "work," unless you yourself built it that way.
I like that.
