Something in my attic dragging things around between the hours of 3am and 4am the last couple nights.
Dragging noise followed by rapid scurrying noise.
Set multiple rat traps / Mouse traps.
No dice.
Between 3-4am , you could set your watch to it.

Be careful, they could cum at you
Could be. Their droppings are slightly larger than that of mice, and disintegrate under pressure. And whereas mouse droppings will tend to be by walls where they scurry, bat droppings will be under where they hang.
Bat droppings are toxic though, so I suggest wearing disposable gloves if you’re going to do any checking.
The solution to bats is to install egress tubes that the bats can get out of but can’t re-enter, then seal up around the openings that they’re using. Professional exterminators will know how to do this.

I find that poison work way better than traps. It’s like they know to avoid the traps
I had a familiar experience but it was in between walls in a totally inaccessible place. It sounded to me like a construction project was happening back there.
