Got one that's just sitting under my desk. It's a K model and it doesn't want to run with any fans other than the really loud stock ones. Tried three other sets of fans on it and it won't work with them. Either shows a fault or starts constantly rebooting but won't hash for more than a few seconds.

Didn't know there was a K model! There's so many of them. I bought some S9s in bulk and there are some that say 13.0 and others 13.5 Th/s. I’m looking to refurbish and resell if you’re interested. The 140mm Arctic fans seem to be the way.

Yeah the S9K is the only one that you can't flash Braiins OS onto and it doesn't seem to like non-stock fans either. The Noctura fans that I put on it are almost as fast RPM as the stock fans but with those ones it's rebooting constantly. With slower fans the red fault light comes on and it stops hashing.

Hey man, I just had a constant reboot issue (maybe similar to the one you described) and was able to fix it by setting the fans to manual. Have you tried this?
