Angor is primarily a funding protocol rather than an investment protocol based on the distinctions in the image. Here's why:

Funding is about providing financial support without expecting direct financial returns. Angor enables decentralized crowdfunding, where backers contribute to projects without necessarily expecting profit, dividends, or capital appreciation.

Investing involves providing money with the expectation of earning financial returns. While Angor could facilitate some projects that offer rewards or incentives, its core functionality is about trustless, permissionless funding rather than traditional investment mechanisms.

However, if Angor later integrates mechanisms where backers receive equity, profit shares, or tokenized returns, it could also incorporate investment aspects.

But I think Angor is suitable for raising large amounts of capital, investors may commit amounts larger then $10k worth of bitcoin which typically means there is an expectation to receive some assets in the invested project.
