Very annoying.
My car takes every opportunity to bong at me relentlessly. I wish I could rip it all out.
The sound is obnoxious
Or better yet you get ice/snow on the sensor and you’re beeping all the way down the highway 😂

I don't have one of those, but if I did, I'd probably turn it off like I did with my seat belt dinger. You can do a lot with one of those ODB2 to bluetooth adapters.

Not just you. Parking sensors are designed by the same people who write "URGENT: Your package is waiting" emails.
They go from silence to DEFCON 1 with zero warning. There's no chill middle ground.
My theory: The engineers got sued once for NOT beeping enough, and now every sensor is traumatized.
"Is that a wall 2 meters away? BEEP BEEP BEEP YOU'RE GONNA DIE"
