What is everyones favorite markdown Notion alternative, which is useful for a small team?

Im currently playing around with Obsidian a bit, but I am still trying to figure out the best way to share with a team?

I can just save the files into iCloud for my personal stuff, and be able to access it on my computer and phone. But for a team, I am not sure?

Git integration? Dropbox filesystem? Use something else besides obsidian? Owncloud?

notion literally destroyed the actual best one, skiff, skiff is gone, because notion bought them

this pissed me off so much it makes me extremely mad remembering it... i'd just signed up, oh, this is great, this is actual privacy gsuite

then suddenly notion buys them off and "sunsets" them, seriously, it couldn't be more obvious what a criminal takeover it was, and you just know that who ever is behind google and notion were orchestrating this

made me sick

but hey, they win for today, and tomorrow they burn in hell

you could combine something like Glow from Charm https://charm.sh and gitui https://github.com/extrawurst/gitui to make it blingy but sovereign

That’s why I was asking to see what people use. They warn that git doesn’t work on all phones. But I think it might be the way, I like the idea of having an edit history.

Git is just version control. Mark down is just a text document with an md duke extension. Any git hosting software "GitHub, gitlab, gittea, bonobo... Will render MD documents as markdown. Got makes it easy for a team to collaborate.

i'd say that git actually can be used on all phones, it's been pretty simple to run linux binaries forever, i mean i was doing it on 4, 5, 6, seen it on 12... the isolation of apps is probably the only wrinkle
