Fwiw, when I joined Damus there were no zaps on notes yet.

A few waves of newcomers came before the feature existed.

It was still f’ing awesome 🤙🤙🤙

I was there too. It’s just so easy to onboard and explain the value proposition with frictionless value transfer beaked in.

Yup, zaps need a second chance.

I suggest the Twitter clone UX will suffer a roadblock for iOS zaps for a while. But other UX designs will emerge to obfuscate and circumvent it.

You can zap by selecting someone’s avatar & then selecting the lightening bolt…. Even on Damus

I am aware. Just frustrated that Apple setback the experience for newcomers.

Yes they did - which is why we need to constantly remind that this is more than simple social media
