If Europe entered the Renaissance after the Black Death in the Middle Ages, the world is now experiencing a second Renaissance following COVID-19. During the first Renaissance, people became fascinated with the art and learning of ancient Greece and Rome. In this second Renaissance, humans are leveraging artificial intelligence and big data to successfully recreate classical music, Impressionist paintings, and more.

The Renaissance was followed by the Baroque period. In the first Baroque era, sacred music and religious compositions flourished with strict forms, and most creations were related to divinity. Are we ready to face a second Baroque period 100-200 years from now? As artificial intelligence becomes ubiquitous and permeates every aspect of human life, will people start to pursue different values? Perhaps the pursuit of physical and mental well-being will become the mainstream in this second Baroque period.
