I will return to iPhone when:

1. Google is done with the Pixel brand.

2. Samsung keeps forcing a dual Samsung/Google ecosystem unwanted fusion.

3. If Xiaomi is still not adequate for 5G bands in USA/Puerto Rico.

In that particular order.

Former owner of iPhone 4s, 5s & 8.

And going to the iPhone, would be my first time considering a Pro edition, but to ensure that I would not need to upgrade in 3 years minimum.

This year I am going for Google Pixel 8 from Pixel 6.

My only "changing phones like an underwear" period or upgrading per year was the complete privilege of BlackBerry since BlackBerry Pearl, Curve and Torch series and finally Google Nexus from 4 to 6.
