I did this in 2021 with $50,000. Bought it all the way down at 4% interest. It'll be paid off in mid 2026. The major difference with these loans is that your interest gets paid back into your own 401k.

thats cool, nice play.. what happens if you quit your job before its paid off to the 401k, taken from principal i imagine?

It has to be repaid in full with 90 days of termination. (My job outlook was pretty secure at the time).

Of course I wish I'd waited a year, but in 2021 we all knew it was going to 100k. 😂😂😂😂😭
