I’m saving in Bitcoin but still it’s chilling to see JPY losing so much value so fast.

How are Japaneses who have no BTC coping?

I wonder if people are noticing? For savvy Japanese I think many invest in US stock market in NISA/iDeco so for them it will look like investment gains. For everybody else it's the usually story of the slowly boiling frog, I think.

Well the gaslighting narrative is that inflation is "good" for Japan to revive economy and create positive cycle leading to higher wages and I think many people actually believe that. The higher energy costs can be blamed on Russia and Putin.
