Israel’s envoy to the United Nations, Danon, said that when the Somali government under Siad Barre carried out a massacre against the people of Somaliland, the international community remained silent, but Israel did not. He noted that in 1990, Israel’s ambassador to the UN at the time, Yohanan Bein, sent a letter to the UN Security Council warning about the massacre in the city of Hargeisa. Danon said that even when it was inconvenient and came at a diplomatic cost, Israel chose to act, calling this an example of moral leadership.

So the last time the government of Israel acted morally was 35 years ago....got it.

By sending a letter. So brave.

Probably took as much effort to write, as I spent writing this note.

They’ve never acted morally, they don’t believe in morals.
