For the last 4 years I’ve been trying to make it to The Bitcoin Conference, but have not been able to. From what I’ve seen and heard about this year’s conference, combined with the fact that they are going to a shit coin city that I have zero interest of going to in Las Vegas. I’m thinking I have ZERO desire to go to a Bitcoin conference ever. Fuck that! I will on the other hand try to go to Lake Satoshi or any number of meet ups. But fuck the Bitcoin Conference.

I went for the first and last time. Lake Satoshi and at meetups, I have found more alignment with my goals. There seems to be more focus on freedom, mining, education, and privacy VS. number go up, buy my product, free stuff and hired models. I left Nashville feeling dirty and like fiat was bleeding into bitcoin too much.
I still want to see bitcoin park, though. I am sure there are great folks in Nashville.
