Need advice on multisig storage. Best practices to store the keys. I’m looking at a 2/3 setup. 2 HW and one offline laptop. Will keep laptop one at home and 2 off site but honestly not sure where to keep everything. Was thinking one safety deposit box and maybe one with family for three HW but not sure how to manage the keys. Will be on metal but not sure how to store them. With the wallets?? That does not seem safe. Do I get 2 deposit boxes? On with second HW and one with private keys? Again seems like that is a single point of failure. Maybe overthinking this. #bitcoin

I recommend 2-of-3 using nunchuk: 1 tapsigner; 2 wallets generated using block stream Jade and QR code templates. This way they are offline and simple to sign by scanning Nunchuck app with the Jade and then vice versa.

Thanks. Will look into jade. Already have a hardware wallet so would like to keep it as one and get another one.

Definitely recommend the Jade for everything, and tapsigner for a 2-of-3. The QR scanning and tapsigner make signing 2-of-3 much easier just fyi.

Storage is flexible this way. Just never keep two keys in one location.

I m thinking a very similar array. maybe different country’s, having different passports and owning property abroad. I guess having another single sig for my btc and alt that I use for trading or spending. And the multi sig just to hodl for long term

Passports and property are a later problem for me. First have to ensure safety
