Have you been to Amsterdam lately? It’s not getting cleaner, safer, and more prosperous each year. Quite the opposite.
Compare that to what Amsterdam was like when it was predominately Christian.
Aren't most western large cities becoming less clean and safe lately? Your post was about countries. You're pivoting to cities now?
Yes, and they are simultaneously straying further from Christ, opting instead for atheism and/or Islam. You’re getting it.
Getting back to countries. No it is not getting more insecure. For example in Germany, there is a clear tendency of decreasing murders since 2000, with smaller ups and downs from year to year. But the trend towards less murder seems undeniable:

France has also a macrotrend to decreasing crime rates while small sluctuations are taking place over the years.

In Sweden most types of crime increased a little since 2013, only theft rate dropped by 11%:

But Sweden seems to be a anomaly outlier in Europe, since all other countries I searched crime rates are decreasing.
UK seems to be quiet stable without clear trend of increase or decrease over the decades:

So much to the past of the last decades, to me it seems europe improved a lot.
