Looking to grab a 2016-2017 #macbook pro sans touch bar to turn into a daily driver that runs #popOS or another #debian based #linux distro. It looks like I can only get a 13” in the 2017 without the touchbar, and that I can’t get an i7 either. Does anyone know what model would be best for what I want to do? Musician/video artist that records and mixes and edits video/audio. I really would like the i7 but touch bar is a deal breaker as it is not plug and play with any distro I’ve seen.
