Dude I don’t know if this is a southern USA thing but people slather pizza in ranch here. It’s like have a little a pizza with your ranch dressing there buddy.
ranch reminds me of mayo by the looks of it, but i have no idea what it tastes like 🤔

It’s a lot of mayo with herbs and spices, frequently thinned down with milk.
Some people do use a sour cream base for ranch dip.
