Nobel Peace laureate Muhammad Yunus has been sworn in as the head of Bangladesh's interim government, following Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's resignation. Yunus, a renowned microfinance expert, vowed to uphold and protect the constitution, restore peace in Bangladesh, and prepare for new elections. The move comes after weeks of student-led protests forced Hasina to step down and flee to neighboring India.
