I've had same experience. I've heard some folks suggest this behavior by the banks are specifica to large accounts or regional banks.
My experience has been with small amounts and with local credit unions. So, I don't think this only impacts whales.
Just a friendly reminder that money in the bank is not your money.
Just had an account closed for no apparent reason, difficult getting my money from the bank at present.
