I only really enjoyed Cowboy Bebop and Trigun. The Ghibli movies were pretty good too.

Trigun is the GOAT.

Normally an anime that diverges from the manga isn't very good, but the 90s anime is just fine and then Trigun Maximum is something totally different which is great. Looks like the new Trigun anime is decent too, more Trigun Maximum than original Trigun.

I haven’t watched Maximum or the new Trigun yet. The old one is a classic in my opinion.

I'd say wait for the new Trigun to get some more episodes, because it's going to take a while and the first season is just a prologue.
