Senator Elizabeth Warren is introducing a bill that could cripple Nostr. It would require Bitcoin node operators and lightning node operators to register with FinCen and implement a KYC/AML program.

I’ll call her office on Monday and tell her staff I am a Bitcoin full node runner, a Lightning Network node operator, and have no intention whatsoever to either register with fincen or cease any operation pertaining to Bitcoin and Lightning. If senator Warren wants to have me arrested then she should do it now.
