Weird when people comment on their own post to reply to you instead of reply to you directly because they just want others to see their discussion.
Some people really want to see seen/heard.

No i know what you’re talking about. There are times when it makes sense. Im talking more about the person literally wanting to be seen of others for their own pride instead of having a proper discussion through replies.
sometimes if i comment to someone from Amethyst and i check in iris or snort it shows up as a seperate comment to myself instead of the person
it can also be this bug
I'm just playing around on here so I'm always afraid I'm coming across wrong to a degree. Plus all the different client things I don't know what others necessarily see.
But if I am I'd like to know to try and alter my behavior or understanding of how this all works.

Me too. Its all so new. I have no idea what #nostr etiquette is. 🤣
My last intention is to cause an issue. If I upset someone and they let me know I will earnestly apologize and hope they forgive.
That being said.
There is a wild side that this space brings out of me that I shoukd be wary of.
If my mother is any indication, sometimes the joke needs to be dropped for some folks.
