but they have millions and a giant potential userbase!
would be nice if they didn't take another 2 years to announce what they plan to do. if it is good enough and has a chance of working I would like to know so I could start contributing there.

but I think it is more likely that it will be some p2p unscalable idea so nostr will still be needed -- but either way they will probably capture more hearts and minds more easily, like IPFS did with their false promises.
that's the problem with them, too big to pick up on something like nostr, they'll probably go some other weird route, so nostr is even more needed, to show that the community doesn't need them, but they're welcome to help here, that would be awesome.
