I think this and the blockstream jade is essentially what I've been doing with the Trezor model T, BIP39 passphrase and keypass2android. It essentially allows me to use cold storage like a Hot wallet.

It works very well for me. It's highly secure. Quick and smooth. And no, I don't store my seed phrase backup online. For true cold storage I like Super Shamir, and then I wipe my wallet.

It's all highly secure and smooth. But you have to really know what you're doing, and know the tools you're using very well..🧡😊
