I’ve been focusing a lot on speed and performance improvements on NDK.
Next version of NDK will allow moving event validation (hashing and signature verification) to a worker to be performed asynchronously.

Workers will become increasingly more important as web apps grow more complex.
Does wasm have a similar effect as web workers do by running in a separate thread? they have to right
emscripten has a way to run pthreads onto web workers. Not rust yet i don’t think.
