When you say Italy has less govt, what do you mean? They're not bitcoin friendly and in my experience they have more laws, just no one cares and enforcement is low.

I'd bet Italy comes through in the next 4 years.

Technically I can get citizenship cuz great grandparents rule, but I need a lawyer (got any recs?). I actually got to see his birth certificate when I visited the small town, but my grandfather is dislexic so they wouldn't give it to me because I was off by 1 on the day and year of his birth.

I actually have Sicilian ancestry there. I've contemplated it but it's a pain in the ass process. they really don't have much government to process it. downside to shitty small government.

better bet would be have a side hustle stack Bitcoin. countries will be begging for it at some point for citizenship.

Any state trying to attract bitcoiners to become citizens is going to try to steal your bitcoin eventually. Never expose that you have it, not even for citizenship.
