Field Notes: Inspectors with the United Nation’s International Atomic Agency (IAEA) reported "10 drums containing approximately 2.5 tons of natural uranium in the form of UOC (uranium ore concentrate)" to be missing from their previously known location in Libya. The unaccounted for nuclear material may now "present a radiological risk, as well as nuclear security concern" according to the IAEA.
