One of the points that the thesis makes is that no megalomaniacal dictator has ever been able to achieve 51% control of earths natural resources because warfare acts as a protocol that keeps earth's resources decentralized.

The same will be true for the bitcoin protocol. Every single nation on Earth will eventually be using bitcoin to compete and it will keep the network decentralized. Thinking nations won't engage in an open-source, zero-trust, permissionless protocol that produces the most valuable resource ever is failing to grasp the larger game theory that is going to play out.
