What about this: if the app sees the same message repeated, a button becomes visible to report as Spam.

If somebody else reported an event, an confirmation button appears for everynone else to report as well. Both cases 1 click, done.

Great for chats. Terrible for data traffic.

Love it

yeah you thought is right.

How about this heuristic:

If the note is longer than, let's say, 30 characters and it repeats 5 times or more within 7 days, it's considered spam.

This wouldn't stop all spam but at least be a step on the way, while allowing plebs to respond with the same message if short.

That said, there might be legitimate notes that are inadvertently flagged as spam. Also the function would need to calculate a percentage similarity between notes.

Especially the message with more than 2 picture and repeated 5 times /more .

It very waste of data flow to process them.

Might be better to make a length limit of spam detection. Usuallly spam message is in very long length, with picture.

We all might repeat something like (me too) (also I have experienced it).

That will be high repeat rate and not spam.

Also, if the blocklist can share automatically for each spam type, then the data flow will be less as our device block that ac before we actually received it.
