Agreed, I've also had this thought more and more over the years. I even think better of certain kinds of real life criminals, at least when their only crime is breaking government rules without harming anyone else.

Yeah, I think it is also that movie producers are building more movies with that emphasis too.

Name a few examples of non-violent bad guys in movies. I feel that most movies use violence to make it appealing to dislike the villain.
