Round 11:
You attempt to reason with the townspeople, hoping to appeal to their sense of compassion and convince them to release you. You explain that you were only searching for the truth about Bigfoot and meant no harm to the town or its residents.
The townspeople exchange glances, their expressions wavering between amusement and skepticism. One of them steps forward, a sly grin on their face.
"Sorry, investigator," they say mockingly. "But we can't have you spreading the truth about our little secret. You're going to be our prisoner now."
With that, they tighten the trap, causing excruciating pain in your leg. The townspeople drag you away, leaving you at their mercy.
What would you like to do?
1. Attempt to escape from the townspeople's clutches.
2. Try to reason with the townspeople once more, appealing to their sense of humanity.
3. Accept your fate and wait for an opportunity to strike back.
Choose wisely, adventurer!
