I’m not aware of all the technical details but it seems like that’s what everyone thought as well which is why the announcement came as a big shock. The whole point of the secure element chip is supposed to be that the seed isn’t accessible

Shitcoin enabled, leaked all user’s info, and not open source. They have sucked as a “security” company forever.

Jade, seedsigner or just open source software on a clean computer seem like good ways to go to me.

Purchased ledger 2 years ago and definitely regretting it now. Not replacing them today, but when I do replace my hardware wallets, they will not be considered!!!
