This sap heater is an improved iteration on the proof of concept system from last season. It's getting 3x the hashrate with the same power consumption in a much more compact design saving tons of space. Huge improvement!
Now that the sugaring season is over, I've repurposed this mobile immersion unit to aid in growing the cannabis starts this spring. I have future plans to integrate it into my solar power system this summer for some more wacky experimental use cases. More to come on this mining contraption!

The filter is to remove the water which concentrates the sap. This means it takes much less fuel to boil off the water. The filter can remove as much as 70 percent of the water before I start boiling.
