I don't see anything here about being self-made. weird
By this definition, you can argue any democracy is an oligarchy, where power rests with a small number of people, distinguished by political control, granted to them by the electorate, regardless of wealth status.
ahhh, I see you've confused direct democracy with a representative democracy. additionally, none of these cabinet members or appointees were democratically elected.
